Direct Mail Letters

Many small companies and single proprietorships have turned to me when they want to send out direct mail letters to clients or potential clients.

Diablo Realty

A successful local real estate broker needed assistance writing a direct mail letter to send to attorneys who handle divorce and estate cases because they often are in need of a real estate professional. The broker was able to use the name of one of her current attorney clients as a means of introduction. 

I took a very rough draft of her initial letter and turned it into a powerful, targeted direct mail piece that resulted in a 2% call rate and lead to several successful relationships between the broker and attorneys who handle the types of cases that often call for the use of a real estate professional.

State Farm Insurance

An existing State Farm insurance agent had recently taken over the office of another agent who had retired. The agent wanted his new clients to know who he was and to assure them that they would be well taken care of by their new State Farm office and agent.

The agent asked me to create a warm, “homey” type of letter that would make the readers feel as if he were their personal friend. I wrote a letter that conveyed that feeling, but was still professional and highlighted the agent’s background and experience.
